Taking Pride in who we are.
Last week, our staff, together with staff from local Catholic schools, including Waimate and Mid-Canterbury, gathered at St Joseph's Church in Temuka for a commissioning Mass led by Bishop Michael. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together in faith and celebrate the values that make our schools so special. The sense of unity and shared purpose was truly uplifting.
That same spirit of pride and community has also been evident in our students. Several of our senior students have represented our school at the Triathlon, Rural Swimming Sports, and PALS. It has been heartwarming to hear from other teachers in the community about how well-behaved and respectful our students have been outside of school, reinforcing the values we cherish and strive to instil in them every day.
