I consider myself very privileged to be announced as the 2024 - 2025 Stoke-Tāhunanui Kāhui Ako principal leader. Having grown up in Tāhunanui and attending kindergarten and three of the nine schools our Kāhui Ako represents, I feel I bring a lot of heart and sense of shared community responsibility to my work. The aspirations and expectations of Te Tauihu are central to this - our collective wisdom and resources will ensure the success of all our learners. The new Stoke-Tāhunanui Kāhui Ako curriculum pathways are an important way forward and empowering all our stakeholders to bring them to life in their schools will be our next strategic goal.

I acknowledge all of you in our community, past and present and am excited by the opportunities and experiences that lie ahead for our children. Kei te tumanako ahau ki te mahi tahi me koe.
