Reflecting on a Year of Growth and Collaboration: Our final WST Hui for 2023
As we approach the end of the year, it's time to pause and reflect on the journey we've taken together.
Our last Within School Teacher (WST) Hui for the year was a fitting space to celebrate successes, acknowledge achievements, and express our gratitude for the collective efforts that have defined this year.
The start of our discussion centered around the success of the recent Professional Learning and Development initiatives and the completion of the Kāhui Ako Collaborative Pathways in ANZH, Literacy, and Numeracy.
Our commitment to professional growth and development continued with a focus on Impact Coaching practice. Two of our ASTs took the lead by modeling a coaching conversation using the GROWTH framework, and then WSTs paired up to coach each other through a review of their goals from the previous meeting, assessing progress and identifying next steps. This coaching practice is important to make sure that we are walking the talk, and making sure that we refine our coaching skills to continue to be able to support our colleagues across the Kāhui Ako.
As the year comes to a close, we want to express our sincere gratitude to all the Within School Teachers for your mahi and support throughout the year. Your continued commitment to our shared goals is truly valued, and we look forward to another year of growth, collaboration, and success.
