We achieved our GREEN GOLD status last night!!!!!!!!!

The following article is what we were planning to do....and we have done it!

Feeling exceptionally proud of everyone, staff, tamariki, whānau and many others that have made this possible.

Kia ora everyone,

It is a very exciting time for the Enviroschools Team and our whole centre.  All of the hard work teachers and staff have done over the last two years working towards our Green / Gold status is about to be decided next week on Tuesday September 3rd.

Toni and Andrea from Enviroschools will come out to talk with us about our journey.  We are all very excited to showcase our environment and our enviornmental initiatives.  We will welcome Toni and Andrea at 2:00pm with a waiata and mihimihi from the children.  then the children will show them our amazing centre.  Families are welcome to come and support this event.

At 3:15pm the Preschool staff will have a hui with Toni and Andrea to determine our expectation of the Green/ Gold Status.

We are looking forward to a positive outcome as we have woven the Enviroschools kaupapa throughout all areas of the preschool.
