Enviroschools News

Laura Rea-Hunt —

We loved our recent visit from Wendy Doody, Councillor for the Oxford-Ohoka ward who came to visit preschool to congratulate us on achieving our Green / Gold status with Enviroschools. We gave Ms Doody a very warm welcome with a waiata and some children did their mihi.

The Enviroschools Team is busy planning the communal veggie garden with our children / tamariki.  Looks like carrots are very popular!  If any whanau have some spare time we would love some help weeding and preparing the planter boxes for planting.

The Enviroschools Team are also looking forward to celebrating our Green / Gold status with whanau and the children early next year.

Remember our kai swap stand is up and running and if you have anything to donate please feel free to contribute.

We are continuing our sustainable practices of reuse, recycle, reduce and sending home package wrapping.  Thanks for all your support!
