Enviroschools News

Brooke Allan —

We are excited to welcome Rebecca, Dani and Dayna to our group, as we extend our focus to Kaitiakitanga, meaning guardianship and protection of our preschool.

The tamariki have been taking such great care of their seedlings and have been excited to watch them grow. We hope to transplant them to the garden soon!

The 4 year old tamariki embarked on a trip to the local Ōhoka Bush and Ōhoka Domain Playground.

The children had so much fun exploring the nature trails and looking at all the different kinds of plants and tree’s they were surrounded by.

They then enjoyed morning tea, followed by a much-anticipated play on the playground. We all had a great time and look forward to more local adventures next year.
