Being a Red Puppy Sponsor helps transform the lives of people who are blind or who have low vision.

Having a Guide Dog is life changing for those with limited or no vision.  It provides an independence in daily life that had been non-existent.  

The working life of a guide dog is much shorter than a humans.  It's only about eight years.  Guide Dogs retire early while they are still fit and keen just needing some well earned rest.  Use of a white cane instead of a guide dog is just not the same.  

We are delighted to have recently received correspondence from the Blind Foundation telling us that our sponsorship has helped provide Lisa with a guide dog and for her to lead an independent life, after losing her sight as a result of a brain tumour when she was 11.  

Lisa says

'My life literally hasn't been the same since.  It's just been amazing.  I've got a massive amount of independence.  And it's wonderful to feel so safe'.
