Kia ora Swannanoa Whanau.

The Enviroschool Team have been very busy making beautiful displays for the hallways.  We are also working with Kaiapoi Men's Shed to build a shelving unit to share and swap produce, condiments, books etc, with our preschool families.

At the moment we are letting the gardens for veggies rest, which is an important part of the Maori lunar calendar Maramataka.  We will be planting for winter during Matariki at the end of June.

We are going to be inviting the Enviroschools Canterbury Committee to see if we are ready for the Green / Gold Award at the beginning of August.
