Wow it’s December already! How fast has this year flown by!

We’ve been busy practicing our songs for the Christmas concert so hope that we will see you all there! The children are starting to get very excited about Santa, and about the decorations they have put up in their homes.

The Christmas party is on 6th December- concert starting at 9.30, with Santa arriving around 9.45, and we will have Lulu the clown put on a show for us at 11.15.

Our focus for this term has been around relationships, and with this we have established a kindness jar where the children have been encouraged to recognise acts of kindness and nominate each other to put a Pom Pom in the jar. So far we have already filled it up once, and to celebrate this we had a disco! Everyone loved it and we saw some pretty special dance moves!

With the start of December comes the official start to Summer, meaning it’s really important for ALL children to come to preschool with a named sun hat each day, as well as already have sunblock applied before they arrive in the morning :)

A change of clothes and a drink bottle is always important too as we will definitely be having hot days with water play and children getting thirsty!
