The end of the year is fast approaching and what an amazing year we have had.

Jo Dobson —

We had our fabulous ERO visit, we achieved our Green Gold Enviroschool status, we have been on trips, we have welcomed many new families into our centre, and we are progressing with further building development.

Here at Swannanoa we offer so many opportunities for our tamariki to learn and grow ...

Every day our tamariki are surrounded by maths, science, nature, encouraged to use sustainable practices, taught the importance of kindness, sharing, immersed in the richness of oral language and surrounded by aroha.

On top of this we have kapa haka, have visits from the library ladies - amazing story telling, visits from Lesley and Justin around our sustainable practices, we grow produce in our communal garden and many many other things.

We are always open to new ideas and would love to hear any you may have.

Did you know we have a 'Mahi Tahi' group ...

This is a group of older 4 year olds that come together from Atawhai and Manaaki throughout the week, new friendships are formed and relationships are strengthened. Different activities are planned and this further enhances our collaboration throughout the centre and our transition to school programme.
