UPCOMING EVENTS;

Crazy Hair Day - 25th September

MAINTENANCE;

Atawahi are about to do some maintenance, we need someone with a chainsaw for five minutes - does that sound like you (five minutes, I promise!)

THANK YOU;

Shelby's Grandad, Colin, for the pulleys that he donated to Manaaki.  The children have been loving these.

REMINDERS;

Please remember to send a warm change of clothes during these cold days. It is important that all children have a change of clothes and a warm jacket they can wear outside.

Please also remember to bring along your child's wet bag each day.

If tamariki or adults are suffering from general illnesses ie hand, foot and mouth, ringworm, slapped cheek, headlice, conjunctivitis, etc they will be asked not to attend preschool until condition has been treated. Anyone suffering from vomiting or diarrhoea must not attend preschool until 48 hours after last symptoms.

CONGRATULATIONS;

Bruce & Haley van Duyn on the birth of Ethan Nicholas.

Amanda & Philip on the birth of a sister for Evan and Maddison.

Transition to School

by Jess & Penny

We have recently been sent a copy of 'Got a Young One Starting School' compiled by a Mana Ake group in North Canterbury. This group of social workers are in our schools to support tamariki, kaiako and whanau. During the next few months we will add relevant pieces to the newsletter for those getting ready to transition.
