Lady Luna

My Names Jess and I would like to tell you about my Cheerleading. My cheerleading club is called Eclipse Cheerleading. I don’t do cheerleading with pom poms and chants. We do stunts to make a stunt work you need three people under it those people are called the bases. The bases each have their own name for it to work the on on the right is the main base. The main base is important so that the flyer can be stable in the air. The base on the left is called the assist and helps out the main base if the flyer was on one leg. The last base is called the back base and holds the back legs of the flyer. The last thing a stunt needs is a flyer, the flyer does flips and tricks in the air and also holds body positions. My role is the flyer, I love everything about it and being thrown high in the air. Last year I had a competition in Christchurch and two virtual comps.

The Christchurch competition was called Alpine Classic. My team came in second place. One of the other comps was called the Cheer Factor and my team won. A couple of years ago my team one the same competition. The last one was nationals so out of the whole country we came first.

My teams name is Lady Luna and we are all training hard at the moment and looking forward to our next competition.
