Excellent team and individual success shown at the Ariki Cup event for 2018.

On Tuesday 7th of August, 22 Tahuna students competed in the Ariki Cup race at Kettle Park. It was a successful and promising day out with all Tahuna Boys coming home in the top 20 to retain the Ariki Shield. The girls came in 2nd, with a strong contingent of Year 7s paving the way. 1st home for the girls was Jorja Gibbons, coming  in 7th place overall (combined Year 7 and 8). 

Congratulations to Joe Parkinson who won the Year 8 boys race, which means he has won it in Year 5, 6, 7 and 8 consecutively. Also a fantastic run from Eric Bracey to take out the Year 7 boys race!!
