On Monday 28th March, Leila and Gregor competed in the Otago Virtual Triathlon. Leila did the rowing in a team of three and Gregor competed individually.

On Monday the 28th of March, students from Tahuna travelled to the Forsyth Barr Stadium for the Otago Virtual Triathlon.

The triathlon involved three events: 1.5km on a rowing machine, 3km on a standstill bike, and a 1.5 (run four times around a rugby pitch).

Some students competed in teams of two or three and some were individuals. All teams/individuals were timed and were racing virtually against other schools. The event lasted the whole week as Dunedin schools had time slots booked for the students to compete.

Leila's team placed 2nd in the Y8 Category and Gregor placed 5th in Y8 individuals. A great achievement!
