We were lucky enough to have Esther from the University come in to talk to us about forces. After we discussed forces known to us, we had a go at creating a pulley device which used little force to pull a class member into the air.

We had to use as little force as possible so it was easy for us to pull someone up. Each group was given the same equipment including one plank, rope and hinge devises.

When the pulley was created we tested it out to see if it could lift us. Miss Walsh even tried the strong looking ones!
