This week we completed some dance lessons in preparation for our pantomime.

We learned about the different elements of dance, 

Body Awareness- Expanding a repertoire of non-locomotor & locomotor movements,

Understand weight transfer and balance, sense body shape in action and stillness.

Space- movement occurs in personal or general space, direction, focus, pathway.

Time- speed/tempo, duration, accent/point, repeating pattern, beat pulse

Energy- force is used, sharp, smooth, heavy light soft hard.

Relationships- how body parts relate to each other, how partners and groups relate to each other in space and time, how the body relates to the dance environment and objects in the environment.
