Rooms 5 and 20 enjoy a quick stroll to Bayfield to appreciate the Art Exhibition

On Wednesday, students in rooms 5 and 20 enjoyed a lovely walk in the sun to Bayfield high school. The purpose of the visit was to look at the wonderful artworks on display.

There were examples from local primary schools, our very own Tahuna students, and Bayfield high schools samples as well.

The art was at an outstanding level and it was good for our students to gain an appreciation of artworks from the different year groups.

A few of the displays related directly to our Sustainability Unit. Pieces of art were made out of recycled items and one display focussed on the making of reusable bags.

All and all it was a wonderful experience.
