Come and hear all about my bubble and what we've been up to.

During lockdown me and my family have been trying to keep ourselves as busy as possible while prioritising at the same time. Me and my older sister both still have school work to do as she is 17 and started online school at the start of the year so this wasn’t a big change for her apart from not seeing her friends and not working. 

When I'm at my mum’s house there are 5 people in the house including Me, My Mum, My sister, My 27 year old brother and his girlfriend. My brother and his girlfriend live in flats in town but decided to quarantine with us. It is great company and help because he gets the groceries when we need them. We also have 2 dogs and 3 cats which we have owned for a while. At my dad’s house it’s just me, my sister and my dad but we still have a lot of fun together.

Lockdown Highlights and Activities:

We try to go for as many walk’s as possible to entertain us and the dog’s but it is hard sometimes due to the weather. We also play darts outside when it is sunny and through the ball around for the dogs. 

I have been reading a lot of books and colouring in postcards as well as keeping in touch with My friends. I have also been watching Netflix, sewing and doing lots of different art activities. 

On Easter we did an easter egg hunt and went for a skate and I made bread and cookies. 

When i’m at my dad’s house we go for lots of walks, do a bunch of baking and play board games such as Dominoes, Poker, Zilch, Puzzles and Uno. We also Zoom the family including my 7 aunties and uncles and my 3 cousins. 

Essential services:

In my family my mum ( Lana Spectra) works at a rest home so she is caring for those people almost everyday. One day she got sent home because she had a sore throat and she had to get tested for COVID 19 after 24 hours she got the results and she tested negative. Every day we all try to clean the house for her before she gets home and sometimes we surprise her with a bit of baking. We also always wash our hands and try to keep sanitary. After work she always comes home with a funny story to tell us about what happened at work and it always puts a smile on our faces.
