Gymnastics Success

During the holidays I had a gymnastics competition. My brother  and my Mum drove to Christchurch. As we arrived at our motel we unpacked and chilled out for a bit. My brother and I played hide and seek in a tiny room till like 9:45pm. We went to bed at like 10:10pm. Next day it was time for my competition. We had to be there at like 9am and we started warming up at 9:45am. The first day I came 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall. I did really well on the first day because I came 1st overall in level 6.

Everyone in the country that's in your level comes up and down to compete against you. After the comp we went home and chilled out for a bit. I called my Dad and was talking to him on the phone about the comp. We had Mcdonalds for tea. Next day it was my birthday. I turned 12. There were apparatus finals also that day. I made it to all the apps. They are Floor, Pommel, Rings, Vault, P-Bar, high bar. I got a gold on floor with a score of 10.2 or 10.3. Gold on pommel with 10.9 I think. Gold on vault with a 12.0. I got 4 gold medals from the whole of the comp. I was really happy with myself and my family was too. It was a really long trip home. I came in the door with all my stuff. I was walking to my room door and it was closed. It had been painted. I knew there was something different about my room. I asked my Dad if I could go in. I went in and my room had been completely changed. I had a proper gaming setup with new wallpaper. Everything in my room had been changed. I also got a new pair of Nike dunks and air force 1s. My brother gave me a mini hoop.

I had a good 2 days of competition and a good birthday!
