Movie Making @tahuna 2016

Courtney Lousley —

To create a 2 minute movie in three sessions during ICT is a big undertaking for the students.  It is a very busy unit and so much is happening.

To make a quality short movie there are many things that need to go well.  Students must use the correct and appropriate language in there story boards before they can go to the next step in making their movies.

We have access to green screen, special effects apps and the use of our Parrot Drone to add to the mix.

The videos made are then compressed and saved into ICT folders in Google Drive.  The challenges for the students are technical, process related and having to collaboratively work with group members in a very time bound setting.

Drafting the story board is often difficult, yet when done with accuracy it makes the movie making so much more effective.

To see what your child has done in movie making for ICT get them to log into their Google Drive and you will be able to see it.
