Recently Tahuna students have been to the fore in a number of differing areas - winning the Classics Trophy; Miniball and Netball teams winning their grades and the Rugby teams winning the Sassenach trophy. Success in the Otago epro8 challenge engineering competition and success at the Peninsula Art Exhibition were other areas of achievement by Tahuna students.

Cultural and performing arts activities will be to the fore next week with our Cook Island, Samoan, Tongan and Te Taiopeka groups  performing at the Polyfest. These things just don't happen - it takes a great deal of commitment, creativity, determination and skill to bring out the best in our students whether it be in sporting, cultural, academic or performing areas. At Tahuna we are very fortunate to have a great team of teachers, coaches and helpers that do just that. Thank you to those people for your fantastic commitment and work.
