Technology

Zoe Melville —

Room 6 students have completed their first rotation at technology and have created some amazing looking key rings.

Last week our technology group went to hard materials with Mr Arnold. We designed and created our own key rings. We had to select three types of acrylic plastic and then we had to stick them together with special strong glue. Next we decided what shape we wanted to make. I made a 'Z' because  my name is Zoe. Then we cut our shape out using a cutting saw. Once our shape was cut out we had to show it to the teacher and we got marked out of 4. I scored 3/4 and felt really happy with it. After we got our score we cleaned it up with sandpaper and polish. I am using my key ring for my house key. I really enjoyed my first Technology rotation and I am looking forward to next week!
