Year 8 Textiles Technology
Jennie Scott - August 22, 2015
Stencil design, screen printing and project construction are just a few tasks that students complete during their time in textiles.
Our Year 8 students have been hard at work in the textiles room this term. They have shown their understanding of the sewing machine and how it works, as well as demonstrating a variety of stitches and also hand sewing on a button to complete their textiles permit. As part of the design process, students were required to design a stencil that would be screen printed onto their finished project. Students could choose to create either a cushion or bag. Here are some of the creative and high quality finished products.
