As part of Tech we planned, designed and built a doll's house. The process involved using a range of tools in the workshop including the laser cutter for our double story stairs. We had to think about who the dolls house would be for and then planned what it looked like around that. We chose to give our dolls house to the Tainui School New Entrant class. We were lucky to be invited to hand it over and see the excitement of the children, who quickly found furniture and fitted it out. This was an awesome project and it was cool to think of others through the design and making process.
