Now I've got that tune in your heads, read on to learn about Rūma Ono's biking adventures

During the last few days, Tahuna year 7’s have been very privileged to have the Bike School to come and teach us some new skills! We started last friday, although it was raining many of us were very excited and gave it our best shot. Based on previous experience, we got sorted into small groups.

On the second day (Monday), we were lucky to have some nice weather so most of the groups went out of school to either the road or the Dinosaur Park.

Lastly our third day (Tuesday) all the groups were capable and excited to go to the Dinosaur Park! We played games and had a really great time.

Just for some extra information, at the Dinosaur park they have recently installed a bike park set up like the road with stop signs, traffic lights etc.

We all had a wonderful time with our instructors and learnt many things including: indicating, road rules and general safety on our bikes.
