Matariki With Miss Smith

These past few weeks in Room 20 we have been learning about the stars of Matariki and what they represent. This week we focused on the youngest star, the wishing star, Hiwaiterangi  As an art project we created 3D stars out of paper and wrote our wishes on them. Also for other stars we focused on Pohutukawa. Miss Smith told us to write about the people we miss that either passed away or moved away. Next we focused on Ururangi and self confidence. Then we wrote confident notes to ourselves and stuck them around somewhere where you can see them.
