The class has really enjoyed getting their rulers and tape measures out to practice their measuring skills. This topic has included making and measuring various shapes and working together to accurately measure, draw and calculate the perimeters. 

Students have had to show their understanding of units of measurement such as Metres, centimetres, and millimeters,  then combine this with subtraction and addition concepts using decimals. 

From here we can begin to look at the Circumference of Circles and how to calculate the Area of shapes using formula. We will continue to apply practical knowledge in these areas during our maths class.
