For our chemistry unit, we attempted the ice cream experiment on Monday afternoon. This task involved us getting into small groups and following a specific set of instructions. The aim was to have a small zip loc bag full of firm ice cream...this wasn't the case. For some reason (Miss Wheeler accidentally adding double the sugar), we didn't have any groups that froze and we ended up with a heap of slushy, vanilla milkshakes. Regardless, there were smiles on everyones faces and the class enjoyed themselves! We might try again in Term 4 without the extra sugar!
