Timetable, expectations and homework.

Please find a copy of our timetable attached. Note as with any timetable this may change as the term progresses.

Homework- Students are expected to read for at least 15minutes daily. This is to be recorded in their reading log in their homework book. To start the year we have 10 kupu (words) for students to translate then learn to spell (including the correct use of macrons). From this week (week 3) homework will also include some basic facts for students to practice. Each week there will also be a task that is related to our current topic. Homework runs Wednesday to Wednesday. It is the students responsibility to ensure they have their homework completed by Wednesday and their book here. 

As our students are now Year 7 I expect them to take responsibility for their learning by ensuring they have all the correct gear and learning tools needed for the day. However some of the stationery packs seemed to be missing items, please check with your child to see what items they are missing and go back to Warehouse stationery and let them know what was missing from the pack (my hope is they will just supply you with the missing items). If there are any problems with this please email me. 

PE gear is needed daily.
