We recently took part in the nationwide earthquake drill ShakeOut. At 9.15am on the 15th October Tahuna and 1.3 million other New Zealanders took part in this activity.

It was a really good reminder to us on making sure we Drop, Cover and Hold when we start to feel an earthquake. It is also a mandatory requirement that we take part in practice drills at school so if the time comes we are as prepared as possible.
