On the 17th of August the winning Lit Quiz team of Alexander Hattrell, Ciara Coffey, Mikayla Lindsay and Iris Feltham reunited to represent Tahuna at the Otago Classics competition.

The Classics competition is held at the University of Otago and is run by the Classic department. The contributing school teams compete a quiz based on Ancient Greek and Roman culture and mythology.

Thanks to Mr Jenkinson's careful coaching, Tahuna was able to secure 2nd place overall.

Excerpt from Iris: It was a very fun activity based around Greek and Roman mythology and culture. As we started the quiz, our team held a small lead for most of the quiz, however, just at the end the Columba team overtook us for the last few questions and won by 3 points! The final score was 43 to 46 but all was not lost as we still got to eat lots of the jellybeans that were provided at the quiz!
