This term both year groups are learning about Electronics. 

Year 8 students are learning to collect data about our local environment using a little picaxe data catcher they have programmed. Year 7 students are using the same  breadboard circuit to design, program and make a local iconic nz 'creature' that will have a message programmed into the 'chip' to communicate, using lights (LEDs) or sounds.

Ask your students as they cycle around the technology area how they are going with their designs and what they have learnt about electronics.
