Every month R13 receives the Extra! ODT Magazine. In this months issue, some of R13s star writers were published!

In each issue of Extra! there are writing prompts in which children can respond to. In class we all completed writing based on the prompt 'The Year 2070' and some inspiration photos published by the magazine, We wrote about what life could be like in 50 years time. We also discussed the debating topic 'Should there be gender diverse leadership roles in schools?' and children wrote down their opinions.
