At Tahuna Intermediate lots of kids love skating and scootering. So every Tuesday the students that like skating or scootering bring their gear and have a whole hour to skate or scoot on the basketball courts .

We have speed or best trick contests and usually Mr Min who runs the club will give the winner a chocolate. Even Mr Min brings a skateboard. 

In the store shed there is a big black ramp that you can grind on or do a jump off of it. There are also some weights in the shed so we and make our own obstacles or rails. We are always teaching each other new tricks and improving our skating and scootering.

It's so much fun and a great way to make new friends. At the end of the year we hope to all take a trip to the skate park in town.
