Day 2

When I woke up I was excited because we were making pancakes, but first we did fitness we did laps squats push ups and press ups. We all worked so hard we looked like tomatoes . We were exhausted, so we were extra hungry for pancakes. My cooking group was Tyler and Holly. We worked well together .It took an eternity to cook them but after we each had one we put maple syrup and whipped cream on them they worked well together .

After our delicious pancakes we split into our activity groups. My group had games we learnt to play lacrosse, there was a red and a blue team blue won.  Next we did orienteering, I was with Alba and Harper .We finished second in our group. Then we did puzzles, there were 6 shapes 4 were the same and the other 2 were the same and they made a letter H. We were already super tired but we still had to do the loop track , but it was worth it. We got to see an amazing view and we were all super hot. So we got back we got to go on the waterslide. The water slide is super dangerous because people kept on skidding and losing skin!

We had burgers for dinner. Lucie had a cool idea that I could melt the cheese on my pattie, they were so yum! Later on that night we played the straw game where everyone had to lie on the ground. It was boys VS girls and we tied.

Around 10:30pm we went to see the glow worms, when we got to the place the trees caved over us .We stood still for 5 minutes then they all came out they looked like the milky way !

Day 2

I woke up to miss Bates' very loud whistle deafening my ears. I dragged myself out of our tent from a very bad night's sleep. I got dressed then we did some fitness. Slowly I walked over to the hall feeling puffed and my eyes heavier than ever. I sat down with my cooking group Vincent and Jordan. We got our cooking supplies to make pancakes, we poured the batter and started to cook. The pancakes were pretty good. I had some cereal because the pancakes didn't fill me up.

After breakfast we cleaned our dishes then got into our activity groups ready for some fun games. Our group, group 1, did puzzles first, they were way harder than they looked. But we worked as a group and figgerd them both out. Then it was time to do the confidence course, we did a few practice runs then mark timed us a few people made it to the end, i feel off. When we finished we did lacrosse with Noah which is way harder than I thought it would be. Lucie and I got four catches. I think the people with the most catches in our group were seven. Then we were about to play a real game but then it was time for orienteering.

When we all came from all the activities we had a break and got ready for the loop walk with Ms Parker. On the walk we had a look where we would see the glow worms that night on the walk. The loop walk was super step but we managed to get back to camp excited for the water slide. So quickly we got into our togs lined up for the water slide. There were a few tears because the grass was super dry like concrete but apart from that it was really fun.we showered the grass and soap and had some free time. Then everyone rushed to the gaga pit and we had competition. The game was pretty close but activity group 2 won. After the fun time in the gaga pit it was time for dinner .

We were cooking burgers and it took awhile who knew cooking three individual burger patties would take so long. We did the dishes and had a bit of time before we would go on the glow worm walk. So Ms Parker brought out this fun game. You had a straw in your mouth and a ping pong ball which you would try and blow it to the opposition's team. When the game was done it was time to go on the glow worm walk. We got our head torches and lined up. Some people stayed back because they were tired. The glow worms were so pretty they glowed up like a milky way, I loved it. So that was day two of camp and I was looking forward to getting a good night's sleep.
