Room 16 experiment creating pulley systems......

Last week Esther Haines from  The Physics Dept, University of Otago visited our school giving us the opportunity to explore the world of physics. The first challenge was to invent a pulley system that could pull a heavy object using as little force as possible.  After a lot of group discussion, problem solving and using trial and error we cam up with the perfect invention, with great success!! We were amazed we were able to pull Mrs McBride to the top!!!
