Laura Henderson recently competed in the South Island Champs.

I recently competed in the New Zealand Southland Championship. This consisted of many divers from around the country. There were 25 competitors, all divided into their different age groups. I was in 3 divisions against 7 divers including my best friend. In total I did 24 jumps and dives off 3 different boards (1 meter, 3 meter and 5 meter). In the end I won all gold medals with great scores averaging from 6-8.

I would like to thank Tahuna staff and students for all the support, it really helped me keep motivated and boost my confidence.
