With Tongan Language Week happening during Week 7, the special Tongan song and dance item at assembly made a spectacular launch to the week.

Over the years we have tried to establish a Tongan Performance group but have been unable to obtain any tutors.  We were absolutely delighted to have members of the Finau and Pole families prepare an item that showcased an aspect of Tongan culture to our Tahuna students.  This was enthusiastically received and we look forward to seeing more from this group over the remainder of the term.
