Toa Samoa win cause for celebration
Andrew Tait - December 10, 2022
On Tuesday, the 22d of November, the Pacific Pride Club decided to hold a parade at school to celebrate Samoa’s rugby league success. During lunch time at 12:30pm everyone went and got ready for the parade. It was chaotic and some dressed a lot more than others but - by 12:40pm everyone met behind Mr Tait’s workshop with their Flags and colourful outfits.
Then we were off with speakers playing and everyone walking with pride screaming and being loud. We walked a lap of the school three times picking up more and more people as we went and then we all settled on the field. We started a dance circle, took some photos and then did another lap of the school, with even more students joining in and walking with us.
To finish it off, we all gathered in front of the staff room and started dancing, singing and standing on tables. It was all very exciting and we all had a great time.
