Hi my name is Aimee and I recently completed my Tahuna Platinum Reading Badge. I did most of it around Stacey Gregg. She is a famous New Zealand writer.

For my reading badge I had to complete a set of tasks, for example creating a presentation on her, producing a board game and a timeline. She had followed her dream of becoming a writer and is a great example for young writers.

On Friday she came to The Dunedin Public Library and I went with two  Tahuna classmates to hear her. At the “meet and greet” she explained her most recent book “The Thunderbolt Pony.” Also at the library she introduced an upcoming book called “The Fire Stallion.” The research of that book took her to Iceland! Going to the library was a very fun, interesting and great experience!!
