Palm oil is bad for the environment because it destroys homes of many species. Harvesting palm oil starves orangutans, it also is a big cause of deforestation. When palm oil companies run out of supplies they order massive machines and they just go through the forest like it's nothing. They couldn’t care less that they are destroying wildlife and our oxygen.

Why palm oil is good and bad: Palm oil is good and also very bad, at the same time. Palm oil makes your skin smooth and also prevents it from getting itchy. It also makes your hair grow smoother and faster. It is used in many moisturizers and lotions which people use daily.

How we can prevent it: people need to stop using palm oil because even if palm oil has some good things about it. There are still really bad traits about it. We can stop buying prepackaged snacks, before you buy something look if it has any palm oil in it.
