Room 16 Show Off Their Karate Skills!

This week we were lucky enough to have Thanasi from NZ Karate teach us the basic skills required to defend ourselves.

This week we spent 90 minutes with black belt instructor 'Thanasi'. He taught us how to punch, kick, make 'Hoi ya' noises to defend ourselves. This included learning respect for the Martial Arts and Japanese culture. We had a lot of fun and also learnt the importance of self control. We hope Thanasi comes back to teach us more again soon!
