We had a strong start with an early goal. Ashley Thorp took the corner and Lewis Wall volleyed the ball into the back of the net.

Minutes later the mid field fed the ball to Lewis and he scored again putting us up 2 nil.

By half time Kavanagh had clawed its way back to 2 all displaying a good fight back.

This week Libby Hayday-Smith  stepped up to play in goal for us for the whole game and denied the opposition any more goals after the half-time break.

Defence held their positions well in the second half along with the mid-field allowing Patrick Ward to show his form and put the ball into the net.

Kavanagh played valiantly but with our concerted effort Lewis found the onion bag 2 more times leaving the final score 5 – 2 in Tahuna’s favour.
