Room 4 enjoyed their time on the climbing wall at Logan Park High in preparation for an actual rock climbing experience later in the term.

After getting involved in a scavenger hunt around the Botanical Gardens, we saw that even intermediate students still get a kick out of feeding the ducks and pigeons around the pond.

At the climbing wall Tim Batholomew covered aspects of safety, introduced students to the equipment and gear they would use when climbing, then each trio learnt the roles when belaying.  This was new for most students, but a real sense of achievement was felt after completing each climb.
