As part of our literacy programme I'm a huge believer in learning through games and fun competition.

We're lucky enough to have a huge range of games that develop vocabulary, oral language, story telling, generating ideas, summarising, questioning, predicting, recall and synthesising skills. These skills I'll see being put into practice during our reading and writing times.

It was such a great buzz in the class with students exploring these games, challenging each other, smiling and laughing!
