Room 6 Camp 2018

Emma Stuart —

On Monday the 12 of February room 6 went out to Tirohanga for 3 days. We traveled by bus and we reached the camp about half an hour later.

Before we reached Tirohanga camp we walked the long and steep Outram glen walking track, it took us 3 hours there and back. When we got there we ate some lunch. On arrival at camp we got told our tent groups and then assembled our tents. After that we got given free time and the boys were trying to catch yabbies in the creek and then Mrs Stuart blew her whistle and we all met each other over by the hall.   On Tuesday we got divided into activity groups and started a number of activities, like air rifles, puzzles, confidence course, type rope walk and grass skis. Also On Tuesday we caught 7 yabbies.  The other class came in the bus on Wednesday and they unloaded and we packed the bus up with our gear and headed back to school.
