Every Tuesday  in term 4, I made it my priority to go to the inter-school badminton competition which for the Boys is held at 3:30pm.

It was  the finals for the badminton inter-school competition and the Tahuna A team (which I was in) was in it. I was sooo nervous. I wasn't sure if I was ready to beat the other team (which was DNI 'A'). I first played my singles which I wasted my opponent in and then we blazed the other team in the doubles. When we finished it was only then did we realised we beat the team in second by 15 POINTS! WOW!!! And that could only mean one thing. We Won the whole Tournament.  I almost died of relief! All that hard, hard work FINALLY PAID OFF!
