After recently visiting the Green Island Landfill as part of our Sustainability topic, we visited the Tahuna Waste Treatment Plant to see just what happens to our waste and how all the alterations and upgrades have dramatically and positively impacted on our neighbouring coastline.  We heard how important it is to watch what goes down the storm water drains and the worst culprits for the treatment station are the wet wipes.  It was a most informative visit and memorable visit.
