Mrs Bowen taught us about traditional Māori instruments and we listened to stories of how the instruments were made.

We learnt about Taonga Pūoro,Pūrerehua, Tumutumu and Kōauau. We listened to Taonga Pūoro beats and samples and then made our music with them. We also went outside to play with the rakau, we had to sign and keep the beat while passing the rakau to each other.
