The Tahuna girls cricket team competed in the NZ Post Shield competition on Tuesday 23rd Feb.

The Tahuna girls cricket team competed in a tournament on Tuesday the 23rd of February in Mosgiel. This tournament was to decide the winner of the Otago region, which then progress onto the national competition. Unfortunately Tahuna lost the opening game against Taieri College. They were set a target of 137 to chase, and fell short by 30 runs. However in their next game, they had an impressive 7 wicket win against DNI. It was fantastic to see some great cricket skills on display. Girls cricket will start up again in Term 4, where we will play in a Super Cricket 8 aside competition.
